Pretty

Oblivious

to the embarassment,

I was as happy as can be.

I didn't, care that my hair

stuck up.

Or that my teeth were blue.

As long as I had

that dresss on.

I had all

the power

in the world.

Embarrasment was below me,

perfection was unessesary,

And makeup,

would never be as

beautiful as me.

Becasue I was happy

and that's all I cared.

In the darkness

of reality.

I would soon realize

that my hair was

Higher than my bow,

and that my teeth,

were blue.

 So I'd,

put some makeup on

and use some gel.

Then I'd be

pretty,

but never as beautiful

as when my teeth were blue.

Gas planet Superstar

When your

falling into the

black hole.

The moon and the sun

stand on the edge of it.

Their tears

fall on your face, as your falling.

Only,

there not looking at you.

They're lookking straught ahead.

Waiting for Jupeter and mars,

to come and tell them

how

good they are.

Because they don't care

about you.

You're a gas planet

not a superstar.

Bore

once you're with us

its hard to save yourself.

At first

it's tough,

you don't want us,

but once you see the beauty of it,

you relax.

A gas seeeps into body.

you're heavy like a cloud.

Untill someone

can save you

we'll suck you deeper.

But if no one saves you,

you will know

that no one cares.

Hmm. Gas Planet Superstar is a great poem. Where did you get the idea for it? I think it's interesting that you give planets human thoughts and ideas. I think you should consider publishing it as one of your final poems for the unit!
